Ty Carey is an artist, graphic designer, and audio producer from Richmond, Virginia. He has been working as a freelance creative for over 15 years specializing in: Logo Design, Web Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia, Audio, and Video.

His passion for creativity started early. As a kid, he was often disciplined for drawing in class, and he did not have much interest in anything but art and music. In an effort to create more security, he attended The Art Institute Of Atlanta to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. After returning home from Atlanta, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University to pursue a degree in Mass Communications/ Advertising.

Most recently he has been learning about NFTs, 3D design, and Web 3.0 programming. This will enable him to be able to keep up with technological advancements, and the evolution of art and technology, helping real life businesses with their presence online and in the Metaverse.

With that being said, Ty still believes in traditional art and design. He still starts off his designs with drawings. It seems like “designers” of today, only really know how to use software, and their skills are not rooted in education or fundamentals of design, leaving a templated, unoriginal look.
